I remember seeing Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains on a Nintendo Direct many years ago and legit being very excited for it. I am a huge fan of the anime and the idea of a really cool looking game based on it for the Nintendo 3DS did sound very appealing to me. If you know anything about this game, you know that it was pretty much hated by the critics. I like how Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is trying to tell the full story of the anime, right from the cadet's training to when the last titan falls.
However, the game has five different characters that you can play as and the way the story jumps between the characters can make it really messy to follow. It is not always clear what order you should be playing the characters in and if you know nothing about the franchise, I would wager that after an hour or so, you may be completely lost in regards to what is going on. I have to say, it is not as bad as people make out.
